Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 June 2026 · Effective immediately for new customers

These terms govern your use of Trustelle bank accounts, cards, and digital services. By opening an account or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1

Account eligibility

Customers must provide accurate identity and contact information. You must be 18 or older to hold an account. We may decline or restrict accounts where verification, fraud, sanctions, or regulatory checks require it.

2

Banking services provided

Trustelle bank provides current accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, domestic and international transfers, personal loans, and customer support through branch and digital channels.

3

Cards and payment obligations

Customers must keep card details, internet banking login credentials, and PINs strictly confidential. We may block cards, payments, or accounts to protect customers or comply with applicable law.

4

Loans and credit

Loan and credit offers are subject to affordability checks, credit reference review, and final approval. All repayment terms, interest rates, and charges are disclosed in full before you accept any offer.

5

Fees and charges

Any account maintenance, card, transfer, or loan charges are disclosed before you use the service. We do not embed hidden charges in product terms. A full schedule of fees is available at any branch.

6

Account security obligations

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, card details, and PINs secure. Report any suspected compromise to our 24-hour card security line immediately. You may be liable for unauthorised transactions where negligence is established.

7

Account closure

You may close your account at any time by visiting a branch or contacting us in writing, subject to clearing all outstanding obligations, pending transactions, and loan repayments.

8

Complaints

Customers may submit complaints through any of our service channels at no cost. We acknowledge within 2 business days. Unresolved complaints may be escalated to the CBN Consumer Protection Department.
